• One of the mainstays of the MIAA championship football teams in 1971 and 1972.
• One of the mainstays of the championship baseball teams in 1973 and 1974.
• Recognized with All-MIAA honors in 1972 as a linebacker and again in 1974 as a defensive back.
• All-NAIA district honors were bestowed on him in 1972 and 1973 in football.
• Team MVP in 1974 in football.
• Captained the 1974 baseball team.
• Earned All-MIAA honors as a first baseman in 1974.
• Enjoyed a career in coaching and teaching and worked as athletic director of L'Anse Cruese North High School in Mt. Clemens.
• A talented athlete who garnered numerous MIAA and state honors.
• A dedicated and fierce competitor and a loyal son whose commitment to Alma College remains true.
