Brandee Brower West's skills, range, strong arm, and leadership set the example for future softball players. Batting a .369 with 19 RBI as a freshman, earning First Team All-MIAA, NFCA All-Region selection batting .408 with 27 RBI in her sophomore year. In her junior year, she hit a .533 in league play, including 56 hits and 13 doubles for the season, which both rank 10th for a single season, and earned second team NFCA All-Region honors. Senior year she earned First-Team All-MIAA honors, selected as the MIAA, MVP, NFCA All-Region, and First Team All-American. In the record books Brandee is listed having the most hits in a game (5), hits in a season with 75 (2nd), season batting average .444 (8th), RBI with 64 (1st), and 12 doubles (11th).
