Alma College

Martin joined the Alma College volleyball team during a dominant era in the program’s history and was a member of four MIAA championship teams.
 
During her freshman year, the Scots went 11-3 in conference play and 24-10 overall. An all-around player, Kristin led the team with 532 digs, 388 kills, and was voted First Team All-MIAA. As a sophomore, the team continued its league dominance with a 13-1 record and went 24-8 overall. Kristin continued to lead the team with 429 kills and received First Team All-MIAA accolades.
 
Kristin’s junior year in 2002 looked very similar to her sophomore campaign. The Scots won the MIAA with a record of 13-1 and finished the year with an overall record of 31-6. She was named Second Team All-MIAA after leading the team with 429 kills and 51 aces.
 
In her final campaign, Kristin was part of the only team in Alma College history to go undefeated in league play. The Scots finished 34-2 overall and captured a fourth straight MIAA Championship. Kristin led the team with 523 digs and set the program’s single-season record with 495 kills, which still stands today. She was also named to the All-MIAA First Team for the third time in her career.
 
Kristin holds the highest number of kills in program history with 1,707 and owns the career service aces record, tallying 162 during her four years on the court. She is one of only six Alma College volleyball players to be named to the All-MIAA First Team on multiple occasions.
