Hall of Fame
• Participated in football and basketball.
• Played 60 minutes in every football game from 1923 through 1926, with the exception of two games in 1925 following a serious shoulder injury.
• Graduated from Alma High School in 1923.
• Earned All-State honors in basketball and football in high school.
• Earned All-MIAA football honors as a tackle in 1924 and 1925.
• Served as a captain of the 1926 championship team.
• Anderson was a guard on the 1924, 1925 and 1926 basketball teams.
• Served as the captain of the basketball team during his senior year.
• Coached basketball and football at Manistee High School from 1927 through 1934.
• A gritty and versatile competitor on the athletic field and a leader on and off the field.
