Erin Fralick Luckhardt joined Alma College Volleyball during the most dominant era in the program’s history.
She was a member of the 2002 MIAA championship team, which went 24-8, and posted a 13-1 record in conference play.
As a sophomore, Fralick broke into the starting lineup, aiding the team to a 31-6 record, and their third straight MIAA title. She tallied 339 kills and 28 aces, while leading the team in total blocks (42 solo, 79 assisted). She was named second team All-MIAA, the first conference recognition of her career.
In her junior season, she was a part of the only team in Alma volleyball history to go unbeaten in the regular season. Alma finished 34-2, winning a fourth straight MIAA championship. Fralick was one of the key contributors. She broke the 400 kill mark with 403, hitting a blistering .382 on the year. She once again led the team in total blocks with 160 (39 solo, 121 assisted). She was named All-MIAA for the second straight season, this time to the first team.
As a senior, Erin led the team through a tough non-conference schedule, with Alma posting a 12-4 record in MIAA play to take 3rd. It marked the sixth year in a row that Alma was in the top three in the conference standings. Fralick posted a team-leading, and career-high, 459 kills and .422 hitting percentage. She totaled 110 blocks (31 solo, 79 assisted). For her efforts, she was named first team All-MIAA, and MIAA MVP.
Erin is one of just two Scots in program history to eclipse the 1,000 kills mark, with 1,201. She also holds the third highest block count in program history at 391, is one of six Alma College Volleyball players to be named to the first team All-MIAA on multiple occasions, and was named to the AVCA All-Region, and All-America teams during her career.
