For four seasons, Becky Pierce Vehar led the team to the national stage. She was a four time All-MIAA First Team Selection, and a four time All-Region First Team Selection, and a three time All-American, including a Second Team selection in 1997 and 1999 and a First Team selection in 2000. One of her greatest achievements is never losing an MIAA Softball game in her career, a perfect 30-0 record. Her MIAA accolades, include 2nd in career wins (30), 2nd in career ERA (.58), and 4th in single season ERA (.19). Pierce is on top of the Scot's record book for her career success in starts ( 97), innings pitched (638.1), wins (86), complete games (92), second in shutouts (29), third in ERA (1.10), and fifth in strikeouts (429). She was the team MVP in 1999 and left the program as the most successful pitcher in the post season with a record of 13-5.
