Alma, MI – Alma College Men's Soccer earned the 2024-25 Team Academic Award from the United Soccer Coaches, as announced on Friday. Alma was one of 283 men's programs in the nation to earn the honor, which is given out to teams who have a GPA over 3.00.

"I am extremely proud of the hard work and dedication that this team has put in, both on and off the field." said Head Men's Soccer Coach Alister Newby. "This recognition is validation of their efforts in the classroom this past year."

The Scots posted a team GPA of 3.21 in the 2024-25 academic year, and were joined by Calvin and Albion in representing the MIAA.

The Scots finished last season at 9-8-1, and will open their 2025 season on September 3rd at Manchester University (IN).
