The Flying Dutch would tack on one more to end the first quarter leading the Scots 4-1.
In the Second, Hope tallied an early goal before Sarah Bollinger answered back for the Scots less than 20 seconds later. The Scots wouldn't score again until the final minute of the half as Lauren Kenny would go coast-to-coast and net another one for Alma. In between the two Scots goals in the second quarter, Hope scored eight consecutive goals to pull away from the Scots, sending Alma into halftime trailing 13-3.
Both teams started the third by trading goals as Hope scored the first of the quarter and Sam Peterson responded just a minute later. Peterson would score again before the end of the quarter on a free position shot as Alma ended the third quarter trailing 18-5.
In the final frame, Hope added two more to their team total as Alma would score the final goal of the game. With a man-up opportunity, Kylie Lewis found Peterson cutting to the net and capitalizing on the situation to tally the Scots final goal.
Peterson led Alma in points with three and in the ground balls department with five. Bollinger won three draw controls on the day to lead the Scots along with Peterson and Kirsten Browne each recording two caused turnover to tie for the team-high.
