Scots win 25-6 to Illinois Tech.

CHICAGO, Ill. – The Alma College women's lacrosse team competed against Illinois Institute of Technology on Friday, April 1, for another big win, 25-6. Alma improved to 8-0 to tie the program's record for winning streaks.

Alma continued the record-breaking season with more assists than any other complete season in program history with only eight games played. Emma Keith broke the record for most assists in a single season with 22. The previous record was 19 assists in a season. 

Sam Peterson led the Scots with 10 points off five goals and five assists. Rileigh McGeorge followed close behind with a personal best of six goals and one assist. Joanna Scorziello had a career-high in goals at 5 and tied her career best of six points. Keith also added six points and Goalie Alaina Frye had six saves. Alma caused 20 turnovers and posted 10 groundballs on the day.

Next, Alma heads to Elmhurst College on Saturday, April 2, for their next competition.
