Scots continue record-breaking wins

ALMA, Mich. - The Alma College women's lacrosse team continued their winning streak on Tuesday, March 15, against Beloit College with a final score of, 21-3, to improve to a 5-0 record, the best starting record in program history. 

Alma started off the game hot with eight consecutive goals. The Scots only allowed one goal by Beloit in the first quarter and two in second quarter. The second half of the game was untouched by Beloit. 

Kirsten Browne led Alma with 11 points off of five goals and six assists. Browne now holds the single game record for assists. Sam Peterson added nine points off of six goals and three assists. Goalie Alexis Frye had three saves on the day. 

Next, Alma heads to Heidelberg University on Sunday, March 20.
