BREVARD, N.C. — The Alma College women's lacrosse team traveled to North Carolina on Wednesday, Feb. 23, to play Brevard College, and won, 21-13. The Scots started the game down but snagged the lead in the second quarter and ran with it. 

Sam Peterson led the Scots with six goals, two assists and five groundballs. Emma Keith also added six goals and two assists. Kirsten Browne had three goals, one assist and four groundballs. All together, seven different players scored for Alma. In the net, Alexis Gibbons had four saves and Alaina Frye posted one. 

The Scots continue their trip in North Carolina on Friday, Feb. 25, against Montreat College.
