Box Score Olivet, MI – Alma Women's Soccer was on the road at Olivet to continue MIAA Conference play. Alma was victorious by a score of 2-0.
The Scots dominated the game, running things from start to finish. The Scots owned possession for long stints and put the Comets under pressure. They finally broke through in the 41st minute. Madelaine McShannock got onto the end of a cross from Allyson Harvey, sending it into the back of the net. Alma headed into the break with a 1-0 lead.
The second half was even more one sided, with the Scots not allowing a shot by the Comets, and just a lone corner allowed to the hosts. The visitors would ice the game in the 77th minute with Jayden Rawlin scoring her first goal of the season with an assist going to Paige Moore.
Overall, the Scots outshot Olivet 25-1, and owned the shots on goal stat 16-0. Allison Bush picked up the win, moving to 3-5-2 on the season, and grabbing her 2nd shutout of the season.
Alma moves to 3-5-2, and 2-3 in MIAA play. The Scots will next be in action on Tuesday the 18th against Trine at home.
