WYOMING, Mich. – The Alma College women's soccer program kept the host Tigers out of the goals, SOG, and shots categories with just one corner kick saving GCU from a complete offensive goose egg as the Scots made quick work of Grace Christian, 5-0.
The win moves improves Alma's record to 11-3-1, the seventh-most wins in a single season, and by recording a clean sheet, the Scots have now recorded ten shutouts in one year for just the third time ever, the first such occurrence since 2013.

How It Happened:
Alma received the go-ahead score at the 8:16 mark on an unassisted strike from
Abby Wonnacott and added some insurance in the first half during the 33rd minute as
Aubri Torok took the assist from
Aaleyah Marcellus to give AC a 2-0 halftime upper-hand.
Claire Michalczuk got the party started in the back half of the contest as she capitalized on a
Maddie Smith pass for a score (60:35) before
Ivy Beall deposited back-to-back unassisted goals into the net within about five minutes between.
The box score was full of Scots dominance, outshooting the Tigers 28-0 and 18-0 accuracy-wise in addition to a 7-1 advantage in corners.
Scots' Top Performers:
Beall played only eight minutes but wreaked absolute havoc in that brief timeframe, garnering her first career multi-goal outing.
Torok collected career goal number four, Wonnacott cashed in her third as a collegian, plus Michalczuk added her second score of her debut campaign in Maroon and Teal.
Smith picked up her first ever assist in match 28 at Alma whereas Marcellus logged her second, both coming this season.
Melina Garcia,
Audrey Mey, and
Cecelia Scaife all tied for the shots lead at three apiece whereas
Mckenzie Keck,
Jana Mohr, as well as
Gracelyn Palomino got two shots away courtesy of non-scoring student-athletes.
