Box Score NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Alma College women's lacrosse team fell, 19-7, against the Saint Mary's College Belles on Wednesday night. Ava Frederickson led the Scots with two goals.
Alma fell into an early deficit that it could not overcome for the rest of the day. The Scots did play the second half well as they outscored the Belles, 5-4, in the final 30 minutes of the game. Alma scored the final two goals of the game with Jamie Sherman and Kalyn Thompson hitting the back of the net.
Emma Keith had a three-point night with one goal and two assists. Emily Flynn led the team with five ground balls. Frederickson also had a game-high six draw controls. Thompson posted three caused turnovers.
Allie Ray made the start in net and earned six saves. Alaina Frye came in relief and made four saves on five shots.
The Scots will return home to host Albion College on Saturday, March 27th at 4 p.m.
