ADRIAN, Mich. – The Alma College Women's Lacrosse Team lost to Adrian College, 5-14. The Scots drop to 1-4 and the Bulldogs win their first game of the year, rising to 1-6.
Rileigh McGeorge led the Scots in goals tonight netting three. Sam Peterson and Andrea Wickman each scored a goal for Alma.
Sophmore Johnna Pullen, Freshmen Jamie Sherman, and Lauren Kenny led in assists (1).
Midland native Courtney Hartnagle led in caused turnovers forcing three. Emily Flynn earned two caused turnovers.
Allie Ray, Lauren Kenny and Pullen tied for most groundballs each earning three. Courtney Hartnagle picked up two groundballs while McGeorge, Haley Willman, Sherman, Peterson, and Kalyn Thompson each earned one groundball.
In goal, Senior Ray made 11 saves.
Up next for the Scots, they will travel to Indiana to play in their first conference game versus Saint Mary's College. The match begins at 6:00pm on Wednesday March 24th. Their next home game is Saturday March 27th at 4:00pm against Albion College.
