ALBION, MICH. The Alma College women's lacrosse team lost on the road against the Albion College, 16-9. Alma's record drops to 1-1 and Albion's record is 2-0. 

The leading scorer today for the Scots was Lauren Kenny with three goals. All three of her scores came in the second half.  

Emma Keith and Sam Peterson each added two goals each. Both of Peterson's goal were free position shots. Rileigh McGeorge and Johnna Pullen each netted a goal for Alma. In net, Allie Ray made 24 saves.

Kenny, Peterson, McGeorge and Ray all picked up two ground balls for the Scots.

Ava Frederickson earned a team-high two draw controls for Alma, she also led the team with three caused turnovers.

Up next, the Scots will be at home to face off against Trine University. The game starts at 7:00pm on Wednesday March 3rd.
