ALMA, Mich. — The Alma College Women's Soccer team played a close match on Tuesday, Oct. 12, and won in overtime against Olivet College, 2-1.

The two teams went into halftime tied at 0-0. The Scots had five shots on goal. The second half brought the score to 1-0 in Olivet's favor but Alma responded with an unassisted goal from Meghan Pfile to tie up the game at 1-1 going into overtime.

Alma found the goal again with a pass from Pfile to Jayden Rawlin to put the Scots up 2-1 for the final score and a conference win. Alma is now 2-3 in conference play. Goalkeeper Nicole Tuzinowski had two saves in goal and keeper Allison Bush added one as well.

Alma continues play at home on Wednesday, Oct. 20, against Hope College.
