On Friday afternoon, the Alma College Women's Lacrosse team hosted Division II Tiffin University at Bahlke Field. On a very cold and wet afternoon, the visiting Dragons defeated the Scots by a mark of 21-3 to improve to 2-12 on the season. Alma is now 5-9 in their inaugural season.

The Dragons scored the first two goals of the game and then Jr. A Brittney Cole (Lansing, Mich./East Lansing) made it 2-1 at 25:52 of the first half. However, that was the last of the good news for the Scots, as Tiffin scored the next 11 goals to take a lead of 13-1 at halftime.

The score was 17-1 when Fr. M Tracy Gallihugh (Lansing, Mich./Waverly) scored in the second half. Sr. M Jessica Page (Alma, Mich./Alma) scored the Scots' final goal at the 4:15 mark to make the score 20-3. So. GK Stephanie Herman (Bay City, Mich./All Saints) finished the game with 10 saves.

After a road game at Trine University on Sunday afternoon, Alma will finish their first season at home against Albion College on Wednesday afternoon. Start time is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
