Box Score On Tuesday afternoon, Alma College Women's Lacrosse played the second game in school history, as they took on host Berry College (GA) and came away with a 20-11 defeat. The Scots are now 0-2 on the season and will next play tomorrow afternoon, when they travel to Shorter University in Rome, Georgia.
Fr. M Tracy Gallihugh (Lansing, Mich./Waverly) scored six goals for the Scots, who trailed 13-6 at halftime but were outscored just 7-5 in the second frame. Jr. A Christie Havrilla (Okemos, Mich./Okemos) followed up an opening three-goal game on Monday with three more tallies this afternoon in the loss.
Two other Scots players scored a goal against Berry - Fr. M Sydney Bryce (Oak Lawn, Mich./Lake Orion) and Jr. A Brittney Cole (Lansing, Mich./East Lansing) - and So. GK Stephanie Herman (Bay City, Mich./All-Saints Central) finished with 26 saves.
