Alma Women's Soccer remain on the top of the league by defeating Kalamazoo on Senior Day 4-1

On Senior Day 2010, it was the underclassmen that stepped up in honor of their teammates, and the Scots came away with a 4-1 MIAA victory against Kalamazoo College. With the win, the first place Alma Women's Soccer team is now 5-0-1 in league play (11-4-1 overall), while Kzoo is now 6-7-2 in 2010 and 3-2-1 in the league.

"I couldn't be happier with the result of this afternoon's game," said Scots Head Coach Jeff Hosler. " It was important for us to play hard for our seniors and we did that today. It is one more step in what we are trying to accomplish. Hope will play us hard like always, and we will need to respond and react and I know our team is up to the task."

Fr. M Taryn Handyside (Montrose, MI/Hill-McCloy) opened the scoring on Tuesday, on an assist from Jr. F Alli Meurer (Holland, MI/Zeeland West) at the 27:45 mark.
