The Alma College Women's Soccer team hit the road on Saturday and defeated host Olivet College, 3-1, in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association contest at the Cutler Athletic Complex.

Alma's Elaine Cunningham put the Scots ahead 2-0 with a pair of goals in a span of three and a half minutes. The first one came at the 15:14 mark, and the second one came at 18:47.

Olivet got on the scoreboard in the 20th minute when sophomore Lizzy Julian blasted a shot from 35 yards out into the back, left corner of the goal. Alma's Jessica Swan answered with a goal in the 26th minute. Swan's goal placed her second all-time for the Scots in total points and the score remained 3-1 at halftime. There was no scoring in the second half.

Alma stays on the road and will take on Saint Mary's College in a MIAA contest on Saturday afternoon, beginning a Noon.
