The Alma Scots women's Soccer team hosted a very solid College of Wooster squad Saturday and came out on the wrong end of a 1-0 decision on a beautiful afternoon at Scotland Yard. The loss drops Alma to 4-4 on the year while Wooster improved to 7-1.

The Scots played hard but could not get the ball past Wooster GK Alix Hoffman while Alma GK Emma Heppler recorded three saves on the day. Shots finished at six for Wooster and four for the Scots. M Becky Marton had two shots for Alma while M Carly Reising and M Jessica Swan each contributed one shot.

The only scoring of the game occurred just 35 seconds into the second half when Wooster F Liz Mott took a pass from D Kate Kiley and put it past Heppler for the 1-0 lead and the margin of victory.
