OLIVET, Mich. - Alma College women's soccer fell to 2-5 overall and 0-1 in MIAA action with a 3-2 loss at Olivet.

The Scots took a 1-0 advantage in the first half when Jen Zernec (Sterling Heights/Henry Ford II) found Kelley Walsh (Linden/Fenton) who beat the Olivet goalkeeper. The rest of the half was scoreless, but Olivet came out and scored three straight Olivet goals before Britni Patrick (North Muskegon) found Tara Fitzsimmons (Marshall) for the second Alma goal of the game, but it was not enough before time ran out for the Maroon and Cream.

Goalkeeper Ivyrose Hess (Grand Rapids/Central) made eight saves in goal in a full 90 minute game.

The Scots return to action Sept. 26 at St. Mary's. Game time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
