The Scots entered into their 5th conference game against Adrian College Bulldogs with an enthusiastic start as Alma scored the game winning goal within the 9th minute of play
Megan Murphy of Gaylord hit a beautiful pass from the back to Christina Harig (Honor) for a breakaway. Harig, MIAA offensive player of the week slotted the ball past Adrian's keeper for the game winning goal.
The Scots credited with 9 shots on goal and defensively shut out the Bulldogs. Pam McCarthy was credited a shut out and no save.
Alma improved their record to 2-5-1 (2-2-1 MIAA) and is solely fouth place in the league standing. They will host a double-header with the Kalamazoo Hornets on Saturday, September 25th. Women's game is set for noon and men's is 2 p.m. ET.
