ALMA, Mich. - The Scots women�s soccer team hosted Hope Saturday (Nov. 6) at Scotland Yard. The Maroon and Cream dropped the match, 3-1, to the Flying Dutch as Hope claimed the MIAA Championship with the victory.

Alma sophomore Rachel Comfort (Eastpointe) scored the only goal for the Scots on an assist from Erin Blackburn (Pinckney). Junior goalkeeper Pam McCarthy (Flushing) made 13 saves in the effort.

Hope improves to 13-1-2 in the MIAA  and 12-4-2 overall while the Scots fall to 6-9-1 in the conference, 7-12-1 overall.
