Cadence Kaminske was named to the All-MIAA Second Team, as announced by the league office on Friday afternoon.
Kaminske, a junior guard out of Brownstown, Michigan, earned the accolade for the first time in her collegiate career.
Kaminske scored the ball at a career high rate this season, putting up 13.8 points per game. That average was over double what the junior was putting up last season at 6.6. She also served as one of the most lethal three-point shooters in the country. At the end of the regular season, Kaminske ranked eighth in all of Division III in terms of three point percentage, hitting at a 43.8% clip.
In MIAA play, she ranked sixth in the league in scoring at 13.3 points per game. She led the MIAA in shooting percentage (49.4%) and three point percentage (45.8%), as well as made three pointers per game (2.4).
Kaminske is the 72
nd All-MIAA selection in program history, and the seventh All-MIAA selection to be honored during the tenure of seventh-year head coach
Sami Stormont.
