ALMA, Mich. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced their yearly Academic awards on July 17th, 2025. The NABC annually puts the spotlight on student-athletes across all National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) divisions and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) divisions as well. The Scots were represented in the Individual category known as the NABC Honors Court for the 2024-2025 season.
The Honors Court recognition is for all juniors, seniors, or graduate students who finished the academic year with a cumulative 3.20 GPA or greater. For the 2024-25 season, over 2,400 men's basketball players across all divisions were honored with the recognition, including four honorees from the Scots. The four student-athletes representing Alma College are included below:
Seth Bradford Sr. Business Analytics
Paul Gadde Sr. Business Analytics
Aidan Judsen Sr. Computer Science
Josh Elliott Jr. Business Administration
"I am proud of our players' commitment to their academic endeavors. We are fortunate to work with a great group of student-athletes who are as dedicated to the classroom as they are to the court day after day" said Head Coach
Mike Fitzpatrick on another year of honorees.
The three senior awardees received the recognition for the second time in their career while Elliott was recognized for the first time in his career. This is the third consecutive year under Fitzpatrick's tenure that Alma has placed individuals on the Honors Court, now with a total of 18 student-athletes.
