Box Score LAKE BARRINGTON, Ill. - The Alma College men's lacrosse team fell, 17-6, in its season opener to Carthage College on Friday. Trevor Bailey and Connor Alley each scored three goals a piece to start off their senior seasons.
Bailey scored the first goal of the game to put Alma in front, 1-0. After a pair of Carthage goals, Alley followed it with back-to-back scores to give the Scots the lead again, 3-2, in the first quarter.
Carthage would go on a run and seize the lead for the rest of the game. Alley added two assists for a five-point game. Parker Macco made his first career start in net and posted 13 saves.
The Scots will next play Benedictine University on the road on Saturday, February 20th at 2 p.m.
