Alma, Mich. - This past weekend the Alma College Esports team competed in Rocket League and Overwatch. The Scots took down the Butler University Bulldogs on Saturday by a score of 3-1 before falling to Arizona State University and Alabama State University on Sunday by a score of 2-0 in both matches. 

Alma got into an early hole in the rocket league matchup with Butler by losing the opening game. However, the Scots rallied to win three games in a row and take the match. Sandro Suffredini led the way with five goals and two assists on the day. Sam West contributed two goals and a save while Connor McCain added a pair of goals and assists. Up next for the Alma Rocket League team is a match against Akron University. 

The Tespa Overwatch Tournament opened on Sunday and the Scots struggled in their first matches with a pair of losses. In game one, Jade Harbert achieved the Golden Medal for healing 8,026 damage. The Alma Overwatch team looks to build on their experience as they continue through the tournament in the coming weeks.
