Box Score On Saturday afternoon, the first-year Alma College men's lacrosse team traveled to Wisconsin to take on Concordia University in the first of two games of their final weekend. The Scots dropped a 21-3 decision and will conclude their inaugural season on Sunday when they play the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
"Today was just not our day, as they jumped us early and we were never really able to recover," said Alma Head Coach Jason Levesque. "Every team, every player has an off day from time to time and I think ours was today. We regrouped and showed some enthusiasm and some life in the second half. Hopefully we can build on that for tomorrow and finish strong."
Concordia jumped out to a 17-1 halftime lead en route to their 21-3 win and the Scots fought an uphill battle all day long. Alma's goals came from Fr. M Cole Mulder (Holland, Mich./W. Ottawa), Fr. M Tyler Bennett (New Lothrop, Mich./New Lothrop) and Fr. A Adam Debevec (Traverse City, Mich./West).
