Box Score

The fledgling Alma College Men's Lacrosse team played their second game of the young season on Tuesday afternoon and lost to Berry  College (GA) by a score of 20-0. The loss dropped the Scots to 0-2 and they will next play tomorrow against Piedmont College in Demorest, Georgia.

"We came out flat as we were not ready to play, plain and simple," said Alma Head Coach Jason Levesque. "A slow start will put you in a deep hole and it certainly did for us this afternoon. I am pleased with the resiliency the team showed in the second half however, as it was a much different story. The guys played hard, and battled to the end and we can take some positives from that. We've learned a valuable lesson that at this level you've get to be ready to go from the opening whistle."

The Scots fell behind 9-0 in the first quarter and 13-0 at halftime and for the game, were outshot by a margin of 46-3. Alma Fr. GK Daric Mueller (DeWitt, Mich./DeWitt) finished with 14 saves on the afternoon.
