Bowling Places 4th at AHBA Round Four

Abigail Debruyne leads with 5th place individual finish

Waterford, MI – Alma College Bowling was on the road on Saturday, taking part in the fourth round of AHBA competition. Alma placed fourth of 11 teams, scoring 4,976.

Abigail Debruyne was named to the all-tournament team, and led Alma's finishers, scoring 912 over five games to place 5th. Morgan Smith was close behind with an 877 over five games in 11th place. Kendra Walch was the next Scot to place in the standings in 35th, with her four-game total at 683. Madeline Gazzarari was 41st with a total of 649 over four games, and Alexis Marquardt was right behind at 647 in 42nd place. In 55th, Sarah Marzolino scored 428 over three games.

"I was proud of the way our team fought back in the last game." Said Head Coach Kyle Woodcock. "We didn't have momentum on our side, and bounced back with our best game to jump back up from 7th to 4th."

The Scots are back in action on January 17th and 18th at the Kegel/ISPBA Midwest Collegiate.
