Jackson, MI – Alma College Bowling was in action on Saturday, hosting their annual home event, the Scotty Classic. The Scots finished 8
th of 14 teams, with a score of 4,398.
The format was three regular games and 12 baker games. Across the board, scoring was down as the day featured a very tough shot. Alma picked things up early with a great 2
nd game, and after a rough start in the first four baker games the last eight were strong from the Scots.
Individually,
Madeline Gazzarari was Alma's top placer. She scored 531 over three games, placing 14
th.
Alexis Marquardt was 36
th, scoring 484 over three games. In 46
th was
Morgan Smith with a 465 over three games bowled.
Brooke Morrow bowled 364 over two games to place 72
nd, and
Mia Winter placed 76
th with a 337 over a pair of games. Abigail Debruyne added 153 to placed 101
st, and
Kendra Walch's 134 placed her 105
th.
The Scots are back in action on February 14 and 15 at the Columbia 300 Hoosier Classic.
