Jackson, MI – Alma College Bowling traveled to Jackson, Michigan to take part in season opening action at the Cougar Classic.
The Scots placed 4th at the Cougar Classic with a total of 4292 points.
Kendra Walch led the team with a 21st placement scoring 168 points.
Morgan Smith and
Madeline Gazzarari finished top 30 with scores of 164.67 and 160.
Alexis Marquardt and
Sarah Marzolino rounded out the rest of the team with 151 and 142.5 respectively.
At the JV level, Alma placed 4th with a score of 3684 points. Brook Buchan took charge leading with a 20th place finish with a score of 168.
Molly Chinery, Brooke Morrow, and
Mia Winter finished close to each other with 41st, 43rd, and 44th placements; scoring 140.33, 133.67, and 133.67. Olivia Holt finished in 54th with a score of 103.33 to end the weekend for Alma.
The Scots will continue their hard work preparing for the next match in late October in Canton, MI.
