Lansing, MI – Alma College Cross Country took part in the Lansing Invite on Friday morning. The Scots men took 8
th place, while Alma's women won the event.
Alma's women were led by Sophia Dech, who took second overall at 19:44.
Chloe Colton followed with a time of 20:38, and
Lauren Brawt was right behind her at 20:50.
Helena Snyder was the next Scot across the line, finishing in 11
th at 21:07.
Melanie Werner took 12
th in 21:09. In 14
th,
Kaitriss DeGroft ran a 21:17, and
Kennedi Wahmhoff rounded out the top seven in 18
th at 21:28.
For the Alma men,
Nolan Woodman ran a 29:01 to place 39
th.
Felix Ramirez was the second Alma runner to cross the finish line, placing 43
rd in 29:29. In 45
th,
Nico Di Ponio ran a 29:30, and was followed by
Benjamin Dickieson in 30:04 to take 55
th.
Ethan Shroat placed 58
th at 30:11, and
Noah Murphy took 69
th. Rounding out the top seven was
Jeremiah Thompson in 71
st, with a time of 31:00.
Alma is off until October 4
th, when they take part in the Calvin Knight Invite.
