Louisville, KY – Alma College Cross Country took to the course at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park on Saturday at NCAA Regionals. Alma's women took 27
th, while the men were 33
rd.
For the women, Sophia Dech took the lead, scoring an 85
th place finish in 24:05. Next across the line was
Chloe Colton in 25:10 to take 138
th, followed by
Lauren Brawt in 149
th with a time of 25:21.
Melanie Werner placed 150
th in 25:25, and
Erica Slocum's time of 25:42 was good for 163
rd.
Kaitriss DeGroft took 193
rd at 26:16, and rounding out the top seven for the Scots was
Helena Snyder in 207
th, her time at 26:47.
Alma's men were led by
Felix Ramirez in 172
nd place at 28:04.
Nico Di Ponio ran a 28:22 to place 184
th.
Nolan Woodman's time of 28:54 earned him 206
th, and
Ethan Shroat followed just two seconds behind in 208
th.
Noah Murphy took 228
th with his time of 29:24, and
Benjamin Dickieson collected a 230
th place finish in 29:34.
Jeremiah Thompson's time of 30:13 rounded out the scoring seven in 242
nd.
