DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Alma College cheer team took to the mats one final time for the 2025 season on Saturday, April 12th, as Spirit Rally took their first-place prelims score to the final performance time of the day inside the Ocean Center. For the first time in a storied program history, Alma College was named the 2025 National Champions in Spirit Rally, with the highest score in program history, regardless of what division, with a 96.725.

The Scots finals score was the highest score from all divisions competing in Spirit Rally at the 2025 NCA National Championship. Finishing behind Alma was the University of Texas at Dallas with a score of 95.175, followed by Thiel College, who scored a 93.675, rounding out the top three. Penn State Behrend and SUNY Cortland closed out the top five in the competition as well with scores of 88.7375 and 87.2625, respectively. 

The cheer program and Team 13 will celebrate their victories and return to tradition on the beach with their awards, continuing a legacy with new faces and a new division.
