Monroe, MI – Alma College Bowling was on the road on Saturday, taking part in the Bowling Green Falcon Classic. Alma placed 5
th on the day, with a total of 5,068.
Alma scored 2,572 before baker games started, and the Scots bowled eight of their 15 baker games above 170. Alma's baker total of 2,496 was the 6
th highest in the field, propelling them to 5
th place finish.
Morgan Smith was the top bowler on the day, placing 20
th in the individual standings with a score of 574 over three games.
Madeline Gazzarari scored 527 over three games to take 32
nd.
Alexis Marquardt totaled 480 over three games to take 52
nd, and Abigail Debruyne took 80
th with 351 over two games. Rounding out the top five individuals for Alma was
Sarah Marzolino in 89
th at 321 over two games.
"We just couldn't get on a good roll today." said Head Bowling Coach
Kyle Woodcock. "It wasn't a bad day by any means, as we averaged out by the end of the tournament, but every weekend you want to see a little more. The last Baker set the shot was completely burned up, but we hung on for a 5
th place finish."
At the JV level, Alma placed 7
th, with a total score of 3,768 (2,022 in team play, 1,746 in baker games). The Scots were led by
Brook Buchan, who totaled 565 over three games to take 25
th.
Brooke Morrow placed 30
thwith 528 over three games, and
Mia Winter's three game total of 512 was good for 37
th. In 70

Olivia Holt with a 407 over three games.
