Smith Tops the Leaderboards as Bowling Takes 3rd at AHBA Round Three

The senior bowled her way to the top spot, clear by six points of second place

Fort Wayne, IN – Alma College Bowling was on the road on Saturday, taking part in round three of American Heartland Bowling Association conference play. The Scots finished 3rd on the day, with a score of 5,110.

Morgan Smith was the top bowler on the day, with her score of 741 over four games good for 1st overall in the individual standings. The senior edged out a pair of bowlers by six points for the crown. Kendra Walch also had a stellar day, bowling a 718 to place 5th, and Madeline Gazzarari's score of 710 placed her in 7th. Abigail Debruyne bowled a 498 on the way to 32nd, Sarah Marzolino out the top five for Alma in 41st with 441, and Alexis Marquardt placed 47th in a 288 over two games.

Alma is back in action at the BGSU Falcon Classic on November 22nd.
