Alma, MI – Alma College STUNT welcomed in Muskingum University and The University of Olivet on Saturday. The Scots repeated as Mid America East Conference Champions, sweeping the day with a pair of shutout wins.

The top ranked team in Division III STUNT opened the day against The University of Olivet, who came in ranked 5
th. The Scots jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first quarter, and increased that lead to 8-0 at halftime, converting on a routine 8 call and a routine 7 call in the first half.
The Scots picked up all 4 points in the 3
rd and all 12 in the 4
th quarter as they cruised home to the win at 24-0, including another routine 7 conversion in the 4
th.

The Scots faced game two with just Muskingum standing between them and a second straight Mid-America East Conference title. Alma once again maxed out on possible points in the first and second quarters. The Scots scored on routines 1,3,2, and 7 in the opening period, and 1,2,4, and 7 in the second quarter.
Leading 8-0, Alma swept the third quarter, claiming points on routines 1-4. Alma's only blemish came on a routine 8 call in the 4
th quarter. Alma wasn't able to secure points on partner stunts or jump and tumble, but did snag the final point on pyramids and tosses with an outstanding effort. When the dust settled, Alma was crowned Mid America East champs for the second straight year, winning 22-0.
The Scots are now off until STUNT Nationals in late April, and look to defend their DIII National Title against a hungry field of challengers.
