Sandusky, OH – Alma College Bowling traveled to Sandusky, Ohio to take part in the Bowling Green Falcon Classic. The Scots finished 5
th overall.
On Saturday Alma competed in the Falcon Classic, placing 5
th out of 13 teams with a score of 4899. Securing a top 10 finish was
Morgan Smith with a final score through 4 games of 742. The rest of the Scots finished near each other with
Hannah Sherman leading the pack with 551 in 45
th place followed by
Alexis Marquardt with 512 in 49
th and
Emily Spear in 53
rd with 473.
Breonna Becker made her first varsity appearance this weekend with a score of 294 through 2 games.
The JV team placed 5
th with a combined score of 4066. Alma played all 4 games with keeping the competition close between the team.
Lily Sierakowski placed 10
th with a score of 649, followed close behind by
Mia Winter with 625 in 12
th place.
Sarah Wortley and
Molly Chinery placed 18
th and 21
st with scores of 491 and 464.
Jayden Jones set a new personal best the weekend with score of 428.
Alma will be traveling down to Flint, MI to compete in the Warrior Classic on Saturday.
