KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Alma College women's golf team closed out their fall campaign on Monday, October 21st, as they traveled to Kalamazoo Country Club for the Hornet Fall Invitational. The Scots rounded out the day finishing in sixth place, with a team score of 397 (+113).

Shooting the team low for the day was Jada Zerlaut, who finished her round with a 95 (+24). Zerlaut's round placed her just outside the top 20 for the day, finishing in 23rd. Finishing in a tie one spot behind her teammate was Sarah Ream, who posted a 99 (+28) as Alma's second-best finisher. Not far behind was Katelyn Jacot, who closed out her fall season with a 100 (+29), finishing in 26th place overall. Kelbi Roman was Alma's next finisher as she finished the day with a 103 (+32), placing her 30th in the field. Charliese Erickson closed out the team scoring for the Scots with a 115 (+44), finishing in 34th place. Competing as the individual for Alma, Addison Wressell put together a 102 (+31), which placed her in 28th in the field for the tournament. 

Coming away as team champions of the tournament was the host, Kalamazoo College. Kalamazoo ran away with the championship posting a 328 (+44), ahead of second place Saint Mary's of the Woods College, who totaled a 346 (+62). Nadia Zerlaut came away as the individual medalist after posting a 79 (+8), the lone seventies score the day.

Alma will now have a break for the winter season to run its course for the next several months before returning in the spring and hitting the course once again. A spring schedule will be released in the coming months.
