Women's Bowling takes 7th in AHBA Championships

Over the weekend the Alma College Women's Bowling Team competed in the American Heartland Confrence Championships.
It was a tough day for the Scots, they started out in the 1st Baker game with 5 splits and that set the tone. They went on to have 38 splits in 30 Baker games which resulted in 35 opens. That cost the Scots 350 pins.
Top bowlers for the Scots were Hallie Weaver who bowled a 204, Ziarya Hulbert with a 200, and Faith Bell who finished with a 173.
"I was impressed by how we battled back after that 1st Baker game. We didn't panic and finished that 6 game Baker block with a 172 average." said Coach Kyle Woodcock
Bowling will be back in action this Saturday Feb. 3rd as they head to Jackson for the Scotty Classic.
