Alma, MI – Alma College Bowling took part in the AHBA 4 event on Saturday. Alma finished 3
rd of 7 teams with a score of 6187.
The Scots held 2
nd place for most of the day, until the 2
nd baker set, which saw the team lose some momentum and slip down to 3
rd. The team finished strong, posting a 790 in the final baker set to cement their place on the podium.
Morgan Smith finished 1
st overall for the second straight tournament, posting a 766 over 4 games bowled.
Hallie Weaver also nailed a top 10 finish, placing 7
th with a 696 over 4 games. Third in the standings was
Faith Bell, who's 675 over 4 games placed them 10
th. In 21
st was
Emily Spear, who bowled 3 games, with a 498 overall. Rounding out the top five finishers for Alma was Alexis Marquardt. They placed 24
th with a 473 over 3 games.
It's a little over 2 weeks off, before the Scots bowl at the Glenn Carlson Classic.
