ANDERSON, Ind. — The Alma College women's tennis team might have lost to Anderson University on Saturday, Feb. 10, but coach Jared Guy said he liked what he saw.
The Scots started the match down 3-0, as the contest originally started in the fall and was postponed due to weather. Alma ultimately lost 9-0.
Coach Jared Guy noted that there was much improvement from how the women played in their doubles matches against Anderson in the fall.
"The score doesn't reflect the fight I saw from the women today," Guy said. "We are a completely different team than we were in October; so much more growth and fight in the women."
The Scots' next match will take place on Feb. 21 in St. Louis, Missouri, against Prinicipia College.
