Alma, MI – Alma College Women's Tennis opened MIAA conference play on Saturday, taking on Saint Mary's College. The Scots were felled by a final of 6-1.
 
In doubles play, the #1 pairing of Karly Kushner and Leah Wronikowski lost 6-2. The #2 duo of Jada Zerlaut and Kayden Alli lost 6-4, and Holly Hall and Salma Laraichi lost 6-3 at #3.
 
Moving to singles play, Kusner lost 6-1, 6-1 at #1. Leah Wronikowski claimed the lone win of the day for Alma at #2. She was victorious by a final of 6-2, 6-3, 1-0. Zerlaut was felled 6-2, 6-4 at #3, and Hall lost 6-2, 6-0 at #4. Alli dropped a 6-0, 6-0 decision, and Sophia Hauffe rounded things out with a 6-2, 6-1 loss at #6.
 
The Scots drop to 5-4 on the season, and the Scots are back in action at Adrian on Wednesday.
