ALMA, Mich. - The Alma College women's tennis team fell to Kalamazoo College 8-1 on Sunday (May 2) in the season finale. The Scots conclude their 2021 season with a 3-8 overall record and 1-5 in the MIAA.
Brooke Butterfield and Abigail Davenport earned the Scots only victory at number one doubles, defeating their Hornet opponents 8-4. Kalamazoo won the other two doubles matches and swept the singles matches to claim victory.
Alma graduates Butterfield, Davenport, and Lucy McCarthy. The Scots will return in the fall of 2021.
