Albion, Mich.- The Alma College women's tennis team defeated Albion College 7-2 on Sunday (Apr. 25). With the win Alma moves to 3-7 overall and 1-3 in the MIAA.
In doubles action, Brooke Butterfield and Abigail Davenport won their match at number one doubles 8-2. Rachel Moran and Emma Lloyd were the other winners at number three doubles with an 8-5 victory.
Butterfield, Davenport, Moran, and Lloyd all won their singles matches in straight sets. Emily McDonald was the other singles winner for the Scots in straight sets.
Alma will end their regular season with a match against Kalamazoo College next Sunday (May 2). It will begin at 1:00 p.m.
