Adrian, Mich. - The Alma College women's tennis team took two games from Adrian on Wednesday (April 10) but ultimately fell 7-2.

• Lucy McCarthy (Rockford, Mich. / Rockford) won the Scots' only singles game in a sweep of Mackenna Crowley.
• Emily McDonald (Wheeler, Mich. / Bullock Creek High School) battled hard with Makayla Jorgensen in the first set but fell 7-5. She was swept in the second set.
• Caroline Ross (Sandusky, Mich. / Sandusky) and Bernadette Garibay (Lansing, Mich. / Grand Ledge) beat Julia Maltbie and Mackenna Crowley 8-4 in doubles competition.
• Abigail Davenport (Downers Grove, Ill. / Downers Grove South) and Lucy McCarthy (Rockford, Mich. / Rockford) hung with Samantha Cyrus and Sara Anthony but fell by two, 8-6.
