Alma, Mich. - The Alma College women's tennis team fell by a 9-0 margin to visiting Kalamazoo College on Monday (April 11) at the Alma College Tennis Courts.

At No. 1 singles, senior Megan Solano (Trenton, Mich./Trenton) battled the Hornets' Sarah Woods, the third-ranked player in the region, but fell by a 6-2, 6-3 margin, while sophomore Matilda Ennis (Glenside, Mich./Phil-Mont Christian Academy) dropped a 6-4, 6-3 decision to Katie Clark in a hard-fought match at No. 5 singles.

The Scots (3-8 overall, 0-3 MIAA) have dropped their last three matches and will travel to Holland, Mich., to face Hope College on Tuesday, April 11. The match is scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. start.
